Why use Careview N95 Mask (Headloop valve) ?
Careview N95 Mask (Headloop valve) is non-collapsible, easy fitting and UV sterlised mask of FFP2 grade offers protection against dangerous, toxic materials and protects against inhalable fine dust within the breathing air. Comfort, safety and practicality are the spotlights of this respirator.
Elastic head loops ensure quick and easy wear on and taking off. A stable nose piece closes within the nose area. Higher filtration and low breathing resistance provides maximum safety and comfort.
The respirators are non-ventilated filter masks that are used to protect your airways.
These hygiene masks are of FFP2 grade and each mask meets the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO). The masks are recommended by the WHO during an outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome, coronavirus or avian flu.
Who is it for?
Indicated for everyone.
Which masks protect against viruses?
With a filter grade of ≥ 94%, masks of the subsequent standards are suitable for protection from viruses such as the corona virus: FFP2, N95, KN95 , P2, DS
- FFP2 (Europe EN 149-2001)
- N95 (United States NIOSH-42CFR84)
- KN95 (China GB2626-2006)
- P2 (Australia / New Zealand AS / NZA 1716: 2012)
- Korea 1st class (Korea KMOEL – 2017-64)
- DS (Japan JMHLW-Notification 214, 2018)
Masks of above standards filter ≥ 94% of all particles up to a size of 0.6 μm from the air we breathe. Masks with the FFP3 standard have somewhat a higher filter performance of 99.5% that also protects against toxic dusts.
How do you wear a mask?
- Wash your hands with soap and water or with an alcohol-based disinfectant .

- Cover the mouth and nose with the mask without leaving gaps between the face and the mask.
- Pass the elastic head bands behind the ears .
- Adjust the nose clip to the nose .
- Avoid touching the mask while wearing it.
- If you touch the mask while using it, wash your hands first with an alcohol-based disinfectant or with soap and water .
- Remove the mask only by touching the elastic head bands.
- To dispose of it, put it in a plastic bag. Put it closed in the trash and wash your hands.
How do I use the respirators?
The respirator is easy to use and can be worn by anyone. Put the mask on the bridge of your nose and cover your mouth at the same time. The mask should sit over your nose and mouth. Pull the elastic bands over your head and adjust the position until the mask fits comfortably.
The lower band should sit on your neck and the upper band at the end of your parting (most of your head).
Once the mask is in the correct position, you can adjust the metallic nose piece so that it fits snugly on the bridge of your nose. Of course, this should not be too tight, but tight enough so that the protective mask does not slip.
What are the respirators used for?
The respirators are suitable for any situation in which you should protect your airways. These include SARS, corona virus and avian flu (recommended by the WHO).
The World Health Organization and the Robert Koch Institute recommend that the EU standard FFP2 is always worn by health care workers during all spraying operations.
How do the respirators work?
The filter system is built inside the material, which means that no external filter is required, the breathing mask is light and not bulky, in contrast to alternatives.
The FFP2 masks protect against materials in the concentration up to 12x OEL or 4x AGW.
FFP2 vs N95 vs KN95
All respirators are rated based on how much protection they offer. Each country has a different classification system for the respective masks. FFP2 is the EU version, N95 is the US version and KN95 is the version used in China.
They offer same level of protection against materials in concentrations up to 12x OEL or 10x APF (assigned protection factor).
Are the N95 masks reusable?
However, the OSHA directive (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) states that respirators can be reused as long as they “retain their structural and functional completeness and also if the filter material isn’t damaged or contaminated”.
Are the N95 masks washable?
These masks are not advertised as washable and there might be no guarantee that the function of the mask will not be effected after a wash. However, the customers have informed us that they have washed their masks and seen good results.
